I was visiting with one of my students the other day, whom I taught in grades 7 & 8 at a Lutheran classical school. He is now a Junior in public high school. I made a crack about our uniform code and he said he wears whatever he wants now, because “this school is a joke.” But, he said, “I would gladly wear that uniform. That was real school.” Simple.
